Maplewood Cemetery is comprised of 120 acres of land and history. Many persons during Durham's earlier period are interred here which includes some of the city's most prominent residents such as Bartlett Durham and several members of the Washington Duke Family. Maplewood Cemetery is known for its beautiful landscape and very well maintenance grounds.
